When DOA returned to Inspire Suffolk in Ipswich for Monster Mash, no one could have quite predicted what was about to happen. In one of the featured main events, the home town duo of Ben Jones and 'Banker' Marc Lloyd formed Team Ipswich to take on Lord Steven Farrell and Sir Ryan Matthews of the Farrell Family. This match stemmed from when DOA was in Ipswich back in the summer and local Councillor Ruman Muhith was in attendance with his family and offered his thoughts on the show in a post show interview. Lord Steven Farrell interrupted him and ran down Ipswich which the Councillor did not take kindly too. Ruman eventually promised Farrell that he would assemble Ipswich's finest to take him on at the October show. An online war of words between the two followed before Ruman announced that Ben Jones and 'Banker' Marc Lloyd both from Ipswich would step up as Team Ipswich to take on the Farrell family.
Ruman led Team Ipswich out for the big match and the crowd were firmly behind Jones and Lloyd as they wasted no time in going straight for the Farrell Family. Team Ipswich certainly had the early momentum until Matthews and Farrell managed to get the upper hand and isolate Ben Jones. Jones showed some signs of hope but the usual dirty tactics of the Family kept allowing them to gain control again. Eventually Lord Farrell locked Jones in the figure four leg lock and whilst the referee was not looking, Sir Ryan grabbed Farrell's hands to add further leverage to the hold. Ruman Muhith spotted what was going on and pushed Matthews on the outside which allowed Jones to reverse the hold and finally tag Lloyd in. Marc Lloyd cleared house taking both Farrell and Matthews down with several moves. With the Family members down, Ben Jones hit his trademark swanton bomb and Lloyd followed suit. It looked like Team Ipswich were about to win but in a shocking moment, Ben Jones attacked Marc Lloyd and downed him with a full nelson slam. Jones left and Farrell made the most of the situation and pinned Lloyd for the win.
After the match, Ruman Muhith did not quite know what had just transpired and helped up Marc Lloyd who was also confused about what had just happened. The man with the microphone AK wasted no time in catching Ben Jones backstage and asking him why he had just turned his back on Marc Lloyd and Ipswich. Jones accused Lloyd of being selfish and referred to the show in September in Bury St Edmunds when the Banker appeared to forget all about Jones. At the time Jones was in the ring after an attack by the Farrell family and Marc Lloyd made matches for everyone at the anniversary show except Jones, totally disregarding him. It was clear from this that something had changed in Ben Jones and now he was going in to business for himself. What is next for the former 'Lad'? and how will The Banker respond?
Danny Darko and Dillon Slade surprised everyone earlier in the month when they defeated the Wylde Kings to become the DOA tag team champions. They had the opportunity in Ipswich to prove that victory was no fluke as the belts were on the line in a rematch. The Wylde Kings - Rexx Wylde and Sullivan King went into the match on a mission to prove themselves and earlier in the night had made that mission clear to the rest of the Farrell Family. There did seem to be a bit of a draft as the Kings were almost ignored by Farrell and Matthews who were more interested in a game of chess until Rexx tipped the table over. The match against Darko and Slade was A tornado tag with a ring full of Halloween theme weapons. The fans were loving every moment of this match which was action packed from start to finish although it seemed it was lights out for the tag team champions after the Wylde Kings trapped Dillon Slade in body bag. However, Slade complete with shark costume managed to later fight back and prove that the title win was not fluke as he and Darko won the match and retained the tag team championships.
Jack E Hyde came out to announce that his scheduled defense of the pandemonium championship would not go ahead due to an injury to his opponent. However, Jack was left suprised when his long time best friend and tag team partner Hex came out to confront him. It seems fan favorite Hex was unhappy at Hyde's recent actions and change in attitude. He stated that as he was the one who gave Hyde the title, and it was time he took it back. The bell rang but before Hyde and Hex could go at it, a mystery man wearing a mask hit the ring and low blowed Hex as Hyde left. The match went to a no contest and Jack E Hyde watched on as the mystery man beat down on Hex. However, Hex battled back and choke slammed the mystery man who rolled out of the ring and stood side by side with Hyde. AK attempted to get answers asking what was going on but Hyde refused to answer and instead handed AK a flyer which read out 'follow or repent'. What is really going on with Jack E Hyde and who is his masked side kick?
Prior to defending his Social Media championship against Canadian guest Gabriel Fuerza, Brad O'Brien was asked by AK about his plans for the Go 4 Glory briefcase. O'Brien was defensive and asked why he would tell anyone his plan for the briefcase and only he knows what is in store. The beefcake of wrestling then turned his attention to Fuerza and the pair produced a fast paced entertaining match. It looked at times like Fuerza could have been taking the Social Media title back to Canada but it was Brad O'Brien who prevailed in the end and made up for his loss to Marc Lloyd at the Anniversary show.
The female Canadian guest at the show was Alexia Nicole who had the women's championship in her sights as she went one on one with Leia Elise. Elise has been on quite a run and has almost seemed unstoppable since winning the title for a second time. It appeared after the anniversary show that she had joined the Farrell Family and turned her back on her real family - especially her father Hot Stuff. The fact she is dating Sir Ryan Matthews probably has some influence over her choice, but at Ipswich it was strictly business. Despite Nicole's best efforts, she could not match the brute strength of Elise who once against retained the championship. Can anyone stop her?
Junior Benito had a better result than his two fellow Canadians and managed to score a victory over Mike Illingworth. This was Benito's second time at DOA and the fans were firmly behind him as he set out to shut up the cocky Mike Illingworth. It was a good result and it seemed that Benito enjoyed it when he spoke about it afterwards backstage.
Meanwhile, Franklin - another hometown boy, was in action against Josh Holly who was making his first appearance in DOA. The welshman was impressive but with the crowd behind him, Franklin was the one scoring the big victory to gain some momentum.
